Public Restroom Pet Peeve

I have never heard anyone speak of this before but it is a big pet peeve for me. There is nothing more irritating than to stop in a convenient store for gas, drinks, etc. and ask for a restroom and be told "We don't have one."

Now, I've had my intelligence insulted before but please, don't tell me you don't have one. Just tell me I can't use it.

A girl in East Ridge told me that she went to the nearby restaurant to use their facilities. She closed her store? I don't think so.

I think it should be made a law, as it is in Florida, that any place opened to the public must have a restroom. The public keeps them in business and they really want the sales but don't want to be bothered with you after they get your money. You wouldn't buy a home without a bathroom, why buy from a store that doesn't let you use their bathroom.

What happened to the good ole days when all places let you use their facilities? And these poor tourists traveling through Chattanooga, I bet they literally "bust a gut."
