Do you know what to do if your pet is injured or sick?
The city of Vacaville's Community Services Department is offering a Pet First Aid & CPR course on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. that teaches you how to safely approach an injured animal, care for wounds, techniques to perform dog and cat CPR and much more.
Techniques are practiced using animal mannequins. Participants receive a two-year certificate of completion and a Pet Saver Book.
No pets are allowed in class.
Interested individuals must pre-register by Friday. The registration fee is $31. Individuals 18 years and older can register for this class at the McBride Center, Three Oaks Community Center, and Ulatis Community Center.
